Southwest Airlines is returning a Sunday-only pair of slots it received as part of American Airlines' divestiture at Washington's Reagan National Airport (DCA) that it does not intend to use.
Although the FAA would usually redistribute these slots to other airlines, because of the unique situation, the FAA will liaise with the Department of Transportation on how to handle this process.
