South African Airways selects Laminaar Aviation Infotech for digitalisation

South African Airways has signed Laminaar Aviation Infotech for digitalization of airline operations. The selection was done by a competitive global tender process. The ARMS software by Laminaar Aviation provides a one-stop solution to address flight planning, aircraft tracking, electronic flight bag (EFB) services in line with its initiative to promote paperless cockpit operations, enhance crew efficiency, and lower total cost of ownership.

Laminaar CEO, Vivek Sheorey, said: “We are privileged to be chosen by South African Airways and thankful for the trust they have vested in us. We look forward to being the airline’s technology partner of choice in its journey of digital transformation and wish the carrier continued success in the future.”

Laminaar claims that ARMS software will aid the aviation industry not just in digitisation but also in workflow automation. The company further added that ARMS provides modular, scalable-on-demand and covers every aspect of operations, people, and maintenance management, bringing cost efficiency and resource optimisation.
