After its recent US $6.7bn acquisition of fellow lessor Goshawk Aviation, SMBC Aviation Capital remains on the look-out for more purchases, according to Aisling Kenny, chief financial officer.
Speaking at the Airline Economics Growth Frontiers conference in Dublin, Kenny said the company's management "continue to look at inorganic opportunities".
Our shareholders have been extremely supportive. They continue to be supportive. They continue to have ambitious growth plans", she added.
The Goshawk deal was announced in May 2022 but completed in late December, creating one of the world's biggest aircraft leasing businesses.
