SMBC Aviation Capital has delivered one A321neo to Air New Zealand. The aircraft is powered by two IAE PW1133G-JM engines.
This marks the second delivery to the airline as a part of a two A321neo transaction.
“The delivery of this state-of-the-art Airbus A321-271NX underscores our commitment to providing our airline customers with the most modern and fuel-efficient aircraft available,” said SMBC Aviation Capital head of airline marketing Conor Stafford.
Air New Zealand general manager strategy, networks and fleet Baden Smith commented: “[The aircraft] is a great addition that will help deliver more capacity and a quality experience for customers travelling on our short-hail international network.”
