SkyWorks reports third quarter activities

SkyWorks Holdings reported a series of transactions and activities performed across its advisory and asset management platform throughout the third quarter of the year.

The company was retained by Flair Airlines to assist with sourcing 737NG and 737 MAX aircraft. Additionally, SkyWorks was engaged by a Latin American airline to help restructure its fleet obligations and by a North American low-cost carrier to arrange JOLCO financing for GTF engines. The same North American carrier continues to receive advisory support for JOLCO financing related to its A320 fleet. SkyWorks was also retained by another low-cost carrier to develop fleet strategies.

Under a servicing agreement with Sierra Echo Aircraft Leasing, SkyWorks completed the sale of an A320-200 on lease with Wizz Air to Aergo Capital. The firm also advised Castlelake on its investment in Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).

In addition, SkyWorks provided ongoing support to a North American low-cost carrier for the sale of 737-800 aircraft and for sale-and-leaseback financing of 737 MAX aircraft, concluding lease agreements for four new 737 MAX 8 jets. The company also continues to support an EMEA flag carrier in securing financing for two A320neo and two A330neo aircraft, while assisting with a potential aircraft order.

Other ongoing projects include advising two parties on a corporate finance evaluation for a potential merger. SkyWorks is also engaged in fleet-related matters for carriers in the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and North America, including a startup airline in Latin America.
