SkyWorks has reported an active third quarter across its advisory and asset management platform.
The firm advised Avelo Airlines on an order for up to 100 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft and supported the airline in arranging financing for these jets.
Copa Airlines was advised on sourcing a 737-800BCF aircraft, while SkyWorks also arranged the sale of an A320-200 on lease to Brussels Airlines and extended the lease of a 757-200 to United Airlines on behalf of US investors.
Other notable deals included the sale of six 737-800 aircraft to United Nigeria Airlines in partnership with Southwest Airlines, and the forward sale of 10 mid-life 737-800 aircraft to a major leasing company and two international airlines on behalf of a North American low-cost carrier.
SkyWorks continued to provide advisory support for clients on Chapter 11 restructuring, including Azul Brazilian Airlines.
It also provided advisory support to a North American low-cost carrier reviewing its commercial and fleet plans; to Flair Airlines for 737NG sourcing; and to an EMEA ACMI carrier on engine maintenance solutions.
The firm continued to support several North American airlines regarding aircraft remarketing, orderbook management, and potential acquisitions.
