SkyWorks appoints new senior advisor

SkyWorks has appointed Christian Hansen as senior advisor, further strengthening the senior coverage team as the firm continues to expand its global advisory and investment banking platform.

“Chris’s global perspective, deep aviation finance expertise, and decades of experience serving clients make him an exceptional fit for SkyWorks,” said Matt Landess, chief executive officer of SkyWorks. “His insight and relationships will be invaluable as we continue to grow our advisory and capital solutions capabilities and support our clients across market cycles.”

Hansen joins SkyWorks following a 35-year career at the international law firm White & Case, where he held a variety of senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as head of the firm’s Latin America Practice and its global Asset Finance practice, advising airlines, lessors, and financial institutions on complex aviation and structured finance matters. His background spans aircraft and engine financings, restructurings, OEM negotiations, joint ventures, long-term maintenance arrangements, and corporate financing transactions.

“Having spent much of my career advising aviation clients, particularly across Latin America, I am excited to join SkyWorks,” said Hansen. “The firm’s depth of industry knowledge and disciplined approach to advisory and capital solutions make it an outstanding platform to support airlines, lessors, and investors.”

Hansen is admitted to the New York and Florida bars and holds a J.D. from New York University.
