SkyWest has reported a 44% increase in departures to 115,990 for October compared to 80,530 for the same period last year. Passenger boardings for October increased 44.6% to 4,782,142 compared to 3,306,720 for the same period last year.

SkyWest also reported a 51.7% increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for October, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 49.4% compared to October 2010. The combined airlines generated 2.49 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.09 billion. Load factor was 80.6% compared to 79.4%, up 1.2 percentage points compared to October 2010. The substantial increases for each of the items are due primarily to the acquisition of ExpressJet Airlines on November 12, 2010.
