Skyco delivers third 737-800 to Xiamen Airlines

On July 17, the third operating lease aircraft B737-800 jointly cooperated by Skyco International Financial Leasing and Xiamen Airlines arrived at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.

For this transaction, Skyco set up a project company in the Xiamen area, Fujian Free Trade Pilot Zone. This deal has successively attracted investment from the Bank of Guangzhou and China Everbright Bank. Three aircraft were leased to Jiangxi Airlines and Hebei Airlines under Xiamen Airlines. Aviation Co, which is to be used for air transportation.

Skyco commented that the delivery of this batch of aircraft “greatly eased the peak season capacity pressure of Jiangxi Airlines and Hebei Airlines and provided guarantee for subsequent air transportation”.

In early 2018, Skyco and Xiamen Airlines reached a cooperation agreement on the operation of multiple aircraft leasing businesses. The 737-800 aircraft just delivered is the third aircraft after the successful deliveries of two aircraft on April 17 and July 10 respectively.

Skyco is a leasing platform under Guangdong Aerocity and it is also the first leasing company in Guangdong that focuses on aircraft leasing.

In the past three years, Skyco has built leasing platforms on the international platforms in Ireland and Cayman, and domestic platforms in Hong Kong, Guangdong and Tianjin. Its subsidiary Skyco (Tianjin) Aircraft Leasing Co., was recently approved as the ninth batch of domestic financial leasing pilot enterprises in Tianjin Free Trade Zone.

At present, the Skyco has 25 aircraft worth about 13 billion yuan.
