Singapore to analyse the Yeti crash black box

The black box of Nepal’s Yeti airline crash will be examined by experts in Singapore, AP News reports. According to the Rajendra Kumar, spokesperson of the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority both the FDR and the CVR will be sent to Singapore tomorrow.

“The Nepal investigating team is leaving on Friday with the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder where the data will be downloaded and analysed," Kumar added.

This will take some burden off the local authorities. However, two bodies of victims still need to be retrieved from the crash site as.

Yeti Airlines flight 691 crashed on the morning of January 15, 2023 while on approach to Pokhara International Airport on a scheduled domestic flight from Kathmandu Tribhuvan International. The aircraft had 68 passengers and four crew members onboard, all of whom died in the crash.
