Singapore Airline is all set to add 40 extra flights to Christchurch later apart from the daily year-round service. The airline will deploy its A380 to Auckland with rising demand.
Starting November 19, the airline will add a thrice weekly service every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the summer months in the Southern Hemisphere as a part of joint venture with Air New Zealand.
“South Islanders love this service as a direct flight from Christchurch Airport to Singapore’s Changi Airport, then on to dozens of cities in Asia and Europe,” commented Gordon Bevan, General Manager, Christchurch Airport. “
These extra flights into Christchurch will add a further 759 weekly seats to the South Island gateway and are expected to boost tourism and business connectivity.
