Shock at Fatal Crash in Cork

Yesterday the Manx2 service from Belfast to Cork crashed upon landing killing six people and leaving some with terrible injuries. The aircraft involved is one of eight currently leased 19-seater Fairchild Metroliners from Flightline BCN, a company based in Spain which also crewed the flight. Manx2 chairman Noel Hayes said the incident had been a "terrible shock" at the firm. A team from Manx2 were yesterday dispatched to Cork to investigate the incident. The twice-daily service between Belfast and Cork is especially popular with business people.
