Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airlines has successfully gone live with Swiss-AS’ AMOS software within its engineering and maintenance department, marking the ‘completion of an extensive transition phase’.
The implementation of the software solution builds on an agreement first signed in 2021, with the project commencing with a thorough review of former processes, rigorous testing and extensive training programmes. ‘In SCAT Airlines’ case, the data was coming from various sources, which demanded significant time and effort from the project team,’ notes Swiss-AS.
SCAT Airlines chose a transition phase using both manual and analog processes, which has been extended until now ‘due to fleet reconstruction and other internal events’. However, the airline is now fully operational with the system.
