Scandinavian airlines SAS has is opening reservations on June 2, 2023, for its first planned electric flight. But the inaugural flight will take to skies only in 2028.
The airline has not revealed other details like flight schedule or but one can predict that it will be a domestic flight either in Sweden, Norway or Denmark.
Interestingly the tickets can be booked on a transferable basis, in case the original person is unable to use the booking post five years. The cost of the ticket is $175.
This figure has been chosen as a tribute to the year when SAS first started flying and includes fees and charges, that won’t be paid until 30 days before the flight takes place.
