Safran has agreed to sell its 50% stake in the aircraft interiors joint venture EZAir to Embraer, making Embraer the sole owner of the company.
Safran did not disclose the value of the sale.
The company is based in Chihuahua, Mexico, and employs around 1,100 people.
Activities of Safran Cabin Brazil that work on Embraer scopes will also become part of the Brazilian OEM. Non-Embraer engineering services activities of the company will remain with Safran.
