Ryanair will open its fifth German base at Cologne in October 2014 with one based aircraft and five new routes to Dublin, London Stansted, Madrid, Riga and Rome Ciampino. Ryanair will invest over $90m at Cologne Airport.
Ryanair has also announced that it will open two new Polish bases in winter 2014 at Warsaw Modlin and Gdansk, and four new winter routes from Warsaw to Gdansk, Madrid, Shannon and Wroclaw. The low-cost carrier will invest over $90m at Warsaw Modlin Airport.
