The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has declared that Ryanair did not violate safety standards last July when three of its flights ran short of fuel on the same day in Spain and were forced to divert to Valencia after bad weather in the Madrid area. The IAA report concluded that all three aircraft arrived in Madrid with more than the required minimum amount of fuel and that the flight crews made the diversion decision early enough in the approach process.
