The Rwandese national carrier, Rwandair Express, has bought its fifth aircraft, a Boeing 707- 800 to expand services to the Great Lakes region and in East Africa.
The airline’s long-term objective is to rival with other African airlines, among them Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airline which fly to a number of European, American and Asian countries via Rwanda.
Arik Air names official carrier for football friendly.
Organisers of the international friendly between Nigeria and Ghana in London have named Arik Air as the official airline for the game holding at the Watford Football Club ground, Vicarage Road, London, UK. As the official airline sponsor of the friendly, Arik Air will convey a delegation of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to London for the match.
