Royal Air Maroc wet-leases two A330s for summer schedule

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) had deployed two wet-leased A330-200 this summer, one of the A330s is leased from Air Belgium and deployed on routes to Brussels, Istanbul Airport, and Paris CDG.

The second A330 is leased from Hi Fly Malta and used for carrying pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

As per Cirium data, RAM started deploying the 9.5-year-old ex-Etihad A330 on daily routes connecting Casablanca and Istanbul from June 14. The A330 will be deployed till June 23, post which A340-300 will be deployed on the Istanbul route till September 4 post which the airline plans to deploy its own Boeing 787.

Apart from this, RAM will also use Hi Fly Malta’s 25.3-year-old A330-200. The aircraft has been flying with RAM since June 2, carrying pilgrims between Rabat and Madina.
