Royal Air Maroc is geared up to ensure the smooth flight of football fans from Casablanca to Doha for the country's World Cup semi-final game against France. Royal Air Maroc will operate 30 special flights departing Tuesday, December 13, 2022, and Wednesday, December 14, 2022, the airline said in a statement.

Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, said: “After the unprecedented success of the match between Morocco and Portugal, we are multiplying the flights by four, mobilizing nearly 30 flights by aircraft widebody aircraft in just 24 hours."

With 30 widebodies departing in such a short space of time the airline has taken enough care to minimize any technical difficulties or glitches for the fans while booking the tickets ahead of the semi-finals game.

"With our mission of public service and the aim of promoting Morocco and supporting our national team, Royal Air Maroc will not skimp on technical and human resources. We are all behind the Atlas Lions,” Addou added.

Morocco has become the first in Africa ever to qualify for the World Cup semi-finals, much to the delight of football fans
