Royal Air Maroc has received one 737 MAX 8 aircraft from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) at the end of last week. A second aircraft of the same type is expected to be delivered “shortly”.
The airline had signed an agreement to lease the two aircraft from DAE.
“This agreement marks the start of a new partnership between DAE and Royal Air Maroc and highlights our ongoing commitment to supporting leading airlines around the world with access to modern, fuel-efficient aircraft,” said DAE in a LinkedIn post.
DAE noted that the agreement signing and first delivery was completed in a “remarkably short time”.
