Riyadh Air's first 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft is near completion.
“Our first official Boeing 787-9 aircraft has rolled off the assembly line, ready to be adorned with our signature livery,” the company said on a LinkedIn post on August 27, 2025.
This marks a significant step in the startup airline's journey as it looks to commence operations in the fourth quarter of this year after some delivery delays pushed back its initial launch date.
The airline has firm orders for 39 787-9s with options for 33 aircraft of this type.
