RESIDCO appoints new director of engine programs

Aircraft and rail lessor, RESIDCO, has appointed Paul Meesala as its new director of engine programs within the aviation team. With a solid background in the aviation industry, Meesala will be responsible for leading the company's strategic initiatives in engine management and maintenance programs.

Meesala past experience includes companies like National Airlines and American Airlines. Most recently, he served as manager of powerplants at National Airlines, where he was responsible for the lifecycle management of engines across four different aircraft fleet types. Previously, Meesala held the position of engineer in power plant engineering at American Airlines, where he developed and managed the CFM56-5B engine fleet through operational data analysis and alignment with OEM recommendations.

"Paul's diverse background in engineering, operations, and engine acquisitions make him an outstanding candidate to lead our engine programs which we have expanded considerably," said Scott Daniels, Managing Director-Aviation of RESIDCO. "We look forward to Paul's contributions as we continue to grow and evolve in the dynamic and competitive engine leasing market."

As director of engine programs, Meesala will spearhead initiatives to optimise engine maintenance and management, and he will work with the aviation team to expand RESIDCO's presence in the engine leasing market while enhancing relationships with airlines, MROs, and OEMs.
