Mark Parkhouse has joined as a partner in REN Legal’s dispute resolution team. Mark is a qualified insolvency practitioner and solicitor advocate with extensive experience in commercial litigation, insolvency and restructuring matters.
Mark has acted on both bank and borrower led restructurings and advises on cross-border domestic, turnaround and recovery work as well as advisory, transactional and contentious matters.

Mark was one of the first solicitor advocates and the first to appear successfully against a QC at a High Court trial. His contentious casework has included dealing with employment transfer liabilities, securities and hedging disputes, taxation litigation and white collar crime defences. In the aviation sector Mark has worked on disputes arising from airline sales and administrations (and foreign equivalents) and finance and engineering disputes.
Mark’s restructuring work has covered a wide range of industries from telecoms and retail to student accommodation and construction.
