Regional Jet adds five CRJ900  from SAS

Estonian capacity provider Regional Jet will be expanding its co-operation with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) by adding five more CRJ900 under long term ACMI contract.

Three CRJs will be based in Tallinn, two CRJs will be based in Vilnius with operations starting in March 2020. 

Regional Jet already has a long-term contract with SAS for operating eight ATR72-600 aircraft and two CRJ900 aircraft based in Denmark and Sweden.

The Estonian carrier started its operations in early 2016 and currently operates a fleet of 19 aircraft, 12 CRJ700/900s and seven ATR72-600s. With the new SAS contracts and introduction of Embraer E195 aircraft for other long-term projects in Europe, Regional Jet fleet will reach close to 30 aircraft by the end of 2020.
