Alton Aviation Consultancy has reported a ‘year of record growth’ in 2023, with the global advisory firm growing its work across all key segments of the aviation value chain. Over the last 12 months, it successfully completed over 200 engagements for more than 100 clients, with over two thirds of the firm’s business being repeat clients from previous years.
Notable achievements for Alton in 2023 include serving as aviation advisor to the unsecured creditors ‘in connection with the Chapter 11 restructuring of a major European airline,’ providing advisory services to airlines and airports worldwide, and continuing a multi-year role as strategic advisor to a leading Middle Eastern airframe MRO supplier. The sale of ten aircraft were arranged (subject to lease) for multiple owner groups, and commercial due diligence was performed on behalf of some of the world’s most prominent private equity firms and other investors.
“With our team growing and our global footprint expanding, we are well-positioned for continued growth in 2024” explained Adam Cowburn, managing director in Alton’s Singapore office. John Mowry, managing director in the New York Office, added: “Demand for deep domain aviation industry expertise from Alton’s experienced team of advisors is stronger than ever”.
