Malaysian cargo airline Raya Airways commenced its route between Penang and Hong Kong with the inaugural flight on October 28, 2024, from Penang International Airport.
The route will operate five flights per week. The company said the route will enhance DHL's aviation network in Asia Pacific and is served by Raya under DHL's charter arrangement.
“Throughout the 14 years of partnership between the parties, Raya has developed a robust operational infrastructure to support DHL’s time-definite business model,” said Raya Group managing director Mohammad Najib Ishak.
Raya also operates charter services from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong and Singapore.
