Qatar Airways launched new flights to Toronto, Canada, with the first flight landing on December 12, 2024. The route will operate three times per week.
"As our second gateway in Canada, this launch underscores our unwavering commitment to presenting Canadian travellers with unparalleled service and seamless connectivity," Qatar Airways Group chief executive officer Mohammed Al-Meer.
The route will be served by its 777 aircraft.
The carrier also noted it had surpassed its roll-target of the satellite internet solution Starlink for 2024. It has now equipped 15 of its 777 aircraft with the technology, with it originally planning for 12 this year.
