Qatar Airways has launched a new codeshare partnership with Air Algérie, boosting connectivity between Algeria and the rest of the world through Qatar’s Hamad International Airport.
The codeshare provides Qatar Airways customers with easier access to Algiers as well as six other key destinations in Air Algérie's domestic network, including Annaba, Constantine, Oran, Tamanrasset, Timimoun, and Tindouf.
Members of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club will also earn Avios on codeshare flights operated by Air Algérie.
Codeshare tickets are available from today (November 3) for travel from November 15 onwards.
Qatar Airways currently has 30 interline and six codeshare agreements with airlines across Africa, and operates 213 weekly flights to 30 cities in 21 African countries.
The codeshare partnership with Air Algérie builds on a previous interline agreement between the two carriers.
