Alfonse Kioko, the chief executive of Precision Air has pledged to forge ahead with plans to diversify its operations into ground handling. The airline is continuing construction of a $5.4-million hangar, which is scheduled for completion in March 2011.
The airline received a third class ground-handling license from Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) in November last year and is also looking to list at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE).
