Icelandic low-cost carrier PLAY airlines have entered into a strategic partnership with airline technology company GO7. The partnership will see the airline broaden its route offerings across its key regions in Europe and North America via its Keflavik International Airport.
The partnership means PLAY's tickets are now available for sale on the global distribution systems (GDSs) through GO7's W2 global ticketing network. The integration allows passengers to enjoy benefits such as complimentary stopovers in Iceland on all transatlantic flights.
""This partnership aligns with our mission to offer travellers a seamless and enjoyable travel experience while maintaining our focus on affordability and convenience,"" said PLAY airlines head of distribution Tatiana Shirokova.
GO7 chief distribution officer Peer Winter added: ""Our collaboration represents a shared commitment to providing travellers with unparalleled convenience by air travel.""
