Planned Polish airport dismisses president of the management board

The planned Polish airport and rail hub, the Central Communication Port (CPK), has dismissed two members of the company's management board. Its president of the management board Mikolaj Wild and member of the management board responsible for railways investments Radoslaw Kantak have both been dismissed.

Member of the management board responsible for finance Andrzej Alot remains in his position. The chairman of the supervisory board Filip Czernicki was delegated to act as president of the management board for three months.

The CPK is a planned transfer hub 37km west of Warsaw, integrating air, rail and road transport. During its first stage, the airport will handle 40 million passengers a year and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) estimates it will handle up to 65 million passengers by 2060.
