In keeping with the aviation penchant for alliances, Henri Courpron and Craig Segor, founders of Plane View Partners and Christian Mc Cormick, founder of Athyenia Finance and Advisory Solutions have entered into a corporate agreement to jointly market and execute engagements that benefit from their complementary experience and expertise.
Plane View Partners, based out of Los Angeles, CA, offers strategic advisory services to aerospace manufacturers, airlines, aviation service providers, lessors, and investors. Its services include business model enhancement, commercial strategy, aircraft transactions, M&A support, contract negotiation and supply chain optimization.
Athyenia, based out of Paris, France, offers financial solutions and structuring for aircraft owners, lessees, lessors, manufacturers and government organizations such as export credit agencies. Its services include identifying, arranging, structuring and selling aircraft finance deals and opportunities to the banking industry and to the capital markets.
“As former leaders in consulting, leasing and aircraft manufacturing, our experts bring instant impacts with practical and executable solutions. Our hands-on approach delivers immediate results working together with our clients. The alliance with Christian McCormick, a world class expert himself, creates a one stop advisory offering for today's aviation challenges" says Henri Courpron, Chairman of Plane View Partners.
Speaking with Airline Economics, McCormick, praised the talents of his new partners at Plane View and stated that the combination of their skills enables the two companies to offer “a much larger spectrum of products and services to their clients”, whilst giving the two small companies “a much larger footprint in the industry and provide their mutual clients with a one-stop shop for aviation services”.
With Plane View based in LA and Athyenia in Paris, the two companies are able to service the global aviation industry, and if the alliance is successful there is the possibility for the firms to set up a joint office in Asia in the future, says McCormick.
Plane View is currently hiring analysts and consultants, which Athyenia will be able to leverage off while it is building up its business portfolio having started operations from January 2015.
