Philippine Airlines has taken delivery of its first A350-1000 aircraft, Airbus announced today (December 22).
The delivery is the first of nine A350-1000s the airline will receive and is also the first A350-1000 to be delivered to Southeast Asia. The aircraft is configured in a three-class layout with 382 seats.
Philippine Airlines will use the A350-1000s to expand its transpacific network with non-stop services to North America. The airline has an existing fleet of A350-900s already in service.
Last week, as reported by Airline Economics, the airline said it expected to receive its A350-1000 “soon”.
