Philippine Airlines and American Airlines have launched a codeshare partnership. The agreement will allow American’s customers to travel to Manila and Cebu via Tokyo on flights operated by Philippine Airlines. Customers can also fly to Honolulu and Guam via Manila through this agreement.
“The Philippines is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia,” said Anmol Bhargava, American vice president of global alliances and partnerships, “and we look forward to continuing to enhance our partnership with Philippine Airlines.”
Philippine Airlines has placed its “PR” code on American Airlines’ flights between Los Angeles and seven US cities including Atlanta, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, and Washington DC.
“This partnership with American Airlines unlocks more options for customers travelling between Asia and the United States,” said Philippine Airline CCO Eric David Anderson. “We are delighted to deliver on our long-term strategy of continuing to build our global reach.”
