As part of its internal corporate restructuring in an effort to improve operational efficiencies, PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO) has appointed Pastor Lopez as CEO of the Tampa, Florida-based aviation company. Bringing nearly 30 years of industry experience, Lopez is responsible for the growth and sustainability of PEMCO’s leading maintenance and conversion operations.

Lopez joins PEMCO with a multitude of aviation experience having held a number of leadership positions ranging from engineering to product development and quality control. Most recently, Lopez served as Vice President of AAR Aircraft Component and Landing Gears overseeing the Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur, Miami and New York business units. In this role, Lopez was responsible for driving strategic initiatives to develop and support long-term growth, profitability and operational excellence. Previously, Lopez was Vice President and General Manager of AAR Landing Gear Services, managing over 380 employees in the Miami and Malaysian facilities.
