Pegasus Airlines receives one new A320neo

Pegasus Airlines has received the first of seven new A320neo aircraft to be delivered in 2018, with aircraft registration number TC-NBP. Pegasus officials took delivery of the aeroplane in Istanbul last week, after its maiden flight from Hamburg in Germany on February 22.

Eylül Masal (September Fairytale) is the 16th aeroplane to be delivered as part of the airline’s 100-aircraft order with Airbus, and brings Pegasus’ fleet to 75.

“As Pegasus Airlines, one of our key priorities is to improve the guest experience,” says Pegasus Airlines CEO Mehmet T. Nane. “To this end, we devise solutions encompassing every part of the business, from ground handling to operations, marketing to the technical aspects, that will make our guests’ lives easier and improve their travelling experience. As a step towards this goal, we have just taken delivery of the 75th addition to our fleet, an A320neo aircraft. We are delighted to be able to offer our guests a much-improved travel experience with our new aircraft, which we have named Eylul Masal (“September Fairytale”). We will continue to expand and modernise our fleet.”

The Pegasus fleet now has an average age of 5.7 years, with the 75-aircraft fleet consisting of 46 737-800s, one 737-400s, 12 A320ceos and 16 A320neo aircraft.
