Pegasus Airlines opens Istanbul–Ljubljana route

Pegasus Airlines has launched direct flights between Istanbul and Ljubljana, expanding its European network to include Slovenia.

The carrier began operating the new service on 26 January 2026, linking Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport with Slovenia’s capital. The route makes Slovenia the 55th country served by Pegasus Airlines’ international network.

No frequency, aircraft type or capacity details were disclosed. The airline said the new service strengthens air links between Türkiye and Slovenia.

A launch event was held at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport attended by representatives from Pegasus Airlines, airport operator ISG and Slovenian diplomatic officials.
