In September 2010, Austrian Airlines posted a 16.1% growth in passenger numbers.
The majority of the growth came from scheduled service, which is thanks to a targeted market strategy, say Andreas Bierwirth and Peter Malanik, members of the Austrian Airlines executive board.
“Our new market strategy with its strong focus on scheduled traffic is having an effect. We will continue with this strategy consequently.”
