Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority invites bids for National Aviation Strategy

The Civil Aviation Authority of Oman has invited bids from consultants to develop the National Aviation Strategy up to 2040. According to the public tender notice, the tender documents are available till January 31, 2023 and the bid submission will close on February 28, 2023.

Oman’s National Aviation Strategy 2030 was announced in February 2020 which aimed to attract an investment of $3.6 billion in airport cities over 20 years.

The strategy was formulated to expand Oman’s aviation sector as a whole, with detailed plans to expand air navigation infrastructure, draft a new law on climate change mitigation, opening the sector to private and international investors by granting concessions for the management and operation of local airports, and aviation related services and much more.
