Oman Air’s CEO, Paul Gregorowitsch, has commented in a recent interview that it will offer its new simulator capacities to the airlines of Iran. He said: “We are already in talks about where we can cooperate together, such as in the maintenance, repair and overhaul business.”

From July, Oman Air will have two full-flight simulators for the A330 and the 737, and has plans to expand its simulator training center.

Oman Air currently flies from Muscat to Tehran twice a day but it plans to increase this to three times a day and begin connections to other Iranian cities, including Mashad, Shiraz and Isfahan.
