Oman Air has appointed Hamood bin Musbah Al Alawi as its deputy chief executive officer on July 1, 2025.
He has over two decades of experience across the government and private sectors in both Oman and the Netherlands. The airline said he has a “strong track record” in asset management, corporate transformation and commercial performance.
“Al Alawi is widely recognised for his results-driven approach, and his ability to lead complex organisations through change,” the airline read in a statement.
He recently supported the transformation of Oman Airports Management Company. During his time there, the company delivered record financial performance as well as a comprehensive restructuring programme to boost its efficiency and capacity.
