Workers at aviation services provider OCS Group at Glasgow Airport have secured a 10.9% pay increase offer, secured by Unite. The pay has now raised to £12.20 an hour. The approximate 80 workers employed by OCS at the airport had overwhelmingly accepted the new offer.
It follows the 11.1% pay increase the workers had received in 2023. In addition, Unite had also secured a 10% pay deal for ABM workers at Glasgow airport at the end of April 2024.
""It's another good wage deal for our members at Glasgow Airport,"" said Unite general secretary Sharon Graham. ""Unite is fully fully determined to enhance the jobs, pay and conditions of our members across all Scottish airports.""
Unite is set to launch a 'new deal' for Scottish aviation workers ahead of the busy summer period which will focus on enhancing the jobs, pay, and conditions of its members across all Scottish airports.
