The French MRO provider, Sabena technics, was selected for the operational maintenance of the new Airbus A310 ZERO-G operated by Novespace.
Specialized in parabolic flight campaigns, the Airbus A310 ZERO-G replaces the former A300 B2 operated by Novespace which was already maintained by Sabena technics since its entry in service in the 90s.
As part of this contract renewal, Sabena technics will provide full support for the new Airbus A310 and its component for a period of 12 years on its Bordeaux site.
"We are proud of the trust Novespace placed in us by granting us this market again. This renewal confirms that high-quality performance associated with proximity is a winning combination. We must constantly maintain, improve and develop them", said Rodolphe Marchais, Chairman and CEO of Sabena technics. “We appreciate and value the loyalty of Novespace since 1996 "he concluded.
"With Sabena technics we have achieved outstanding results on the operational reliability of the A300 ZERO-G, the former aircraft retired in November 2014 after 18 years in service of scientific research," said Thierry Gharib, General Manager of Novespace. “Sabena technics’ teams have always delivered a high-quality performance and we are pleased to keep working with them".
