NORWEGIAN CEO COMMENTS ON US PLAN B

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Chief Executive of Norwegian Air Shuttle, Bjorn Kjos, has stated that if the US rejects its application for a U.S. foreign-carrier permit it could buy another airline that already has a permit in place. However, he added that he is confident Norwegian will be granted a foreign carrier permit by the U.S. Transportation Department in upcoming weeks.

A US foreign carrier permit would allow Norwegian to compete on trans-Atlantic routes using its 787 fleet.
