Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has promoted 49 of its lawyers to the role of partner around the world, effective as of 1 January 2024. Among this group is Paris-based banking and finance lawyer Sebastien Allain, who focuses on asset finance and the aviation sector.
Allain first joined the firm in 2010, training in its London office before joining the Paris team in 2012, where he has built up ‘extensive experience acting for banks and export credit agencies on a range of transactions’ including cross-border financing and leasing, pre-delivery financings, sale and purchase of aircraft, syndicated lending, tax-based structures, and export credit agency transactions.
Norton Rose Fulbright highlights how Allain has also ‘worked in several pioneering deals across the aviation sector, advising on first-of-kind structures and projects’ including insurance-backed AFIC and Balthazar deals.
