Norse Atlantic reports 42,000 March passengers as Paris-New York route opens

Norse Atlantic Airways reported "an aggregate load factor" of 60% for March 2023, up 10 percentage points on the previous month. Operating 223 flights, the airline carried over 42,000 passengers.

“We are very pleased with the continued momentum of forward bookings across our network following the launch of our full summer schedule in February which saw multiple sales records broken on consecutive days. With a sustained focus on ancillary choice throughout the customer journey and by offering a consistent approach combined with greater passenger numbers we are looking forward to a successful summer ahead,” said Bjorn Tore Larsen, chief executive.

During the month Norse Atlantic took off from Paris to New York for the first time but ended the London-Oslo route due to "low overall demand".

The carrier said it "has released the initial wave of winter 2023 flights" which are available for purchase.
