Norse Atlantic Airways has completed the first nonstop flight from Norway to Australia. The flight was chartered by Albastar and was serviced by a 787-900 Dreamliner. The flight took off from Oslo Gardermoen Airport on August 3, 2024, before landing at Darwin International Airport on August 4, 2024. ""Completing this charter flight between Norway and Darwin, a first in aviation, is a testament to our commitment to consistently delivering excellent service to our charter clients,"" said Atlantic Airways director charter and ACMI Mette Birkedahl. ""The Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner is the perfect aircraft for ultra long distance flying and we are proud to demonstrate its capabilities on this historic route.""
