Lessor, Nordic Aviation Capital has appointed Patrick de Castelbajac as chief executive Officer, effective from the Q3 2020, when he will be based at NAC’s newly opened headquarters in Limerick, Ireland.
The new chief executive has almost 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry and most recently, he was president of Asia-Pacific for Airbus, and was executive vice-president strategy and international at the airframe manufacturer.
Before joining Airbus, de Castelbajac spent three years with Baker & McKenzie as a lawyer and a member of the Paris Bar.
Patrick began his aeronautical career in 1997 at MBDA (former Aerospatiale Missile). He previously studied law in France, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Martin Moller, Chairman, and Founder of said that the new hire has a long-standing relationship with NAC and had demonstrated strong leadership abilities in his previous roles.
