As of June 16, easyJet is expanding its existing connections to and from Manchester with flights to Nice Côte d’Azur three days per week throughout the year.
From June 16, easyJet will fly this route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays using an A320, offering a total of 10 flights per week.
With the opening of this new route, easyJet now offers 41 destinations from or to Nice, including nine to the UK.
“The expansion of our connections with Manchester and the addition of new flights help the drive and influence of our region with British tourists, in particular city-breakers who are so important in our strategy to de-seasonalise our traffic and support the economic development of the French Riviera”, welcomes Dominique Thillaud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.
The UK is the largest market for foreign travellers to Nice Côte d’Azur airport, representing 11% of its passengers, 55% for tourism, 26% to visit relatives and 19% for business.
Nice Côte d’Azur now offers 122 destinations, of which 98 are in 43 foreign countries.
